Lets see progress!! The craziest thing is I haven't lost a significant amount of weight scale wise. This weight loss thing is tricky!

On this journey honestly hard work getting up at times when I didn't want to made me work even harder.

Healthy eating less and less fast food more and more salads and fruits and veggies.
I was eating under 1,200 calories a day.
I went to the gym 2 times a week I started running A LOT morning before work after dropping Mya off at school late nights after work doing at home workouts simple things like squats planks and jumping jacks standing side crunches with my kettle bell. I wasn't always focused but all of that combined over time got me where I am.

I only consume bone less chicken breast and fish no other meat.

Staying focus and doing it for you will bring the results you hope for. Take a look below to see how far I've come.

December 2014 vs October 2015

And the journey continues!

New App "My Calorie Counter"

To follow up to the mentioning of calorie counting. I hope none of you thought I was actually using pen and paper to track every single thing I have consumed, that would be very time consuming. In any case this app is the best, while there are many out there that have the same features I prefer this one its simple straight to the point and with ease I was signed up, I hate a long dragged out sign up process. The app has a huge selection of food I haven't typed anything in and haven't been able to see the calories in the food or cholesterol or protein etc. It lets you know how many calories you should consume daily to lose weight and how much you need of each thing like as mentioned before Protein, Fiber, Cholesterol, etc I found that it was hard to not consume certain things like sodium and cholesterol because it's in everything and some time way to large quantities if you ask me. I hope I have peaked your interest. Check it out!!! http://www.everydayhealth.com/my-calori...

1st Mini Workout Video

First and foremost apologies for the poor video quality!  Breaking barriers - I would’ve never had the courage to post something such as this... my first fitness journey was extremely private. I didn’t understand “the process” I was only worried about the results. Now I want to share it all! That last set of squats almost took me out. My breathing was heavy, heart racing and all but guess what I DID IT! The full video is 10 minutes long. KEEP IN MIND DO 3 sets of each!!! #fitnessjourney #mommyandmefitness #fitness #fitnessmotivation #motivation #blackgirlsworkouttoo #goals #determination #newme #workoutmotivation #workoutroutine #girlpower #beinspired #stayfocused #fitsyqueen #fitsyqueenfitness #beyou #doyou #loveyou #squats #jumpingjacks #breakingbarriers #instafit #yougotthis #yougogirl #blackgirlmagic
